9 Postgraduate Scholarships for International Students UK 2025

Universities often advise students to apply early to secure a place in the incoming intake. It is the same advice to follow if you need a scholarship. Many UK universities offer scholarships to international students and they should apply before April 2025.

University of Leeds Scholarships

The University of Leeds, UK offers scholarships to international students starting in September 2025. The University of Leeds scholarships include:

Alumni students are eligible for a 10% tuition fee discount.

The International Excellence Scholarships, valued at 25% and 50% fee reductions for international students, are offered by the faculty of biological science.

The application deadline for this scholarship is 16 May 2025 at 5 pm UK time.

The Tetley and Lupton scholarship is a one-year fee scholarship for full-time taught Masters, Masters of Research, and Masters by Research degrees. This scholarship is a fee-only award of up to £27,000.

The application deadline is the 3^rd of February 2025, 5 pm GMT. 

The Snowdon Master’s Scholarship for students with disability

Value of Scholarship: £30.000. The Snowdon Master’s Scholarship is worth up to £30,000 payable as a contribution of up to £15,000 towards fees paid directly to your university, and a further £15,000 paid to you in termly instalments to cover living expenses throughout your Master’s study.

Global Futures Scholarship at the University of Manchester

The University of Manchester is awarding more than £4.5 million to international students starting in September 2025 through undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships.

The Global Futures Scholarship will be awarded to students from specific countries like Bangladesh, Botswana, Canada, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Türkiye, UAE, United States, Vietnam and Zimbabwe holding an admission offer.

To be eligible, you must:

Hold an offer from one of the courses listed below and accept your offer by the 30^th of May 2025.

Meet or exceed the academic entry criteria for the course applied to.

The University of Bradford Scholarships, England

The University of Bradford in the North of England, West Yorkshire is offering multiple postgraduate scholarships to international students starting in September 2025. As previously stated, universities usually require that potential students have an admission offer before submitting their application.

Alumni Discount Scheme

All alumni of the University of Bradford, regardless of when they have graduated, will receive a 10% discount on their tuition fees.

The Bestway Foundation Scholarship

The University of Bradford has partnered with the Bestway Foundation to offer up to 5 full-fee scholarships to Pakistani students. The scholarship is worth £35,000 and covers tuition fees, living expenses and accommodation.

Applications for this scholarship will open on 1 April 2025 and close on 1 May 2025. Bookmark the date in your calendar.

Great Scholarships

The University of Bradford is offering this prestigious scholarship award in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain campaign to nationals of Thailand and Vietnam. The scholarship is worth £10,000 towards the cost of tuition fees.

The Faculty of Engineering and Informatics scholarship

The Faculty of Engineering and Informatics (FoEI) is delighted to be able to offer a generous scholarship that benefits its international students undertaking an MSc in Renewable and Sustainable Energy.  International students will be granted a scholarship at a value of £7,500 as a tuition fee discount.  This means that students will pay: £17,889.

The scholarship will be applied automatically upon enrolment - there is no need to apply.
